It was first clear for us to rent a car, what we did from Toyota-Rent-A-Car. But it turned out to be complicated:

In February in Japan its not obligatory to get winter tires - you have to demand it and they ask for additional payment. After long time checking we got one Hybrid, which turned out to be very nice. Driving is easy in this country, right-hand-driving though  But all is normal speed, not aggressions, not too much police, because everybody here follow rules anyway. Gas is approximately on European+ - level - highway toll-cost is outrageous !

So after nice driving rural roads around Mount Fuji, and high parking cost we decided to return our car in Kyoto and enjoy the perfect JAPAN RAILWAYS, ESPECIALLY THE BULLETT-TRAIN SHINKANSEN 700 !
